Public schools/Charter schools 411

My daughter is in pre-kindergarten but since she was a baby I have researched schools, talked about schools, driven by schools, fantasized that if I picked the right one she will become a doctor. After years of obsessing she will start kindergarten this year & I am no closer to deciding where she will go. I have always heard that public schools are so/so but I can't afford private schools. But after checking around there are a lot of great public schools! Here's some websites & information I have collected from doing  research. I have applied to a few charter schools, if she doesn't get in I'm hoping to put her in a christian private school (with some grants ) :)))

Florida Department of Education’s School Rankings website. Since the 1998-1999 school year, Floridians have used school grades to help assess the quality of their local schools. The school rankings, based on the points used to determine school grades, are part of the Department of Education’s ongoing effort to increase transparency by providing clear measures and metrics to help parents of school-age children, educators, and taxpayers in Florida evaluate their local schools.  https://app2.fldoe.org/Ranking/Schools/
