I was on the waiting list for this service 3 years, if you apply and get a notice in the mail that the list is closed you must reapply every 6 months or they take your name off the list. If you get an appointment letter, what to expect?? They want your child's birth certificate, social security cards for both, and last 3 paystubs (it's the most important). With your paystubs they input your gross income into their computers and calculate how much your portion of daycare will be it can range from $4 to $56 a week, they pay out the daycare a subsidy which means they don't pay the entire difference but most daycares accept it. Some private preschools make you pay the difference.
